Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the science of behavior focused on meaningful and desired personal growth. With decades of peer-reviewed research, the science is demonstrated to work with numerous populations to teach useful skills and reduce unsafe behaviors. Our consultant utilizes the science to assess the client's values and what they wish to achieve, create an individualized support plan, and train caregivers to proficiency so the client meets their desired outcomes.
Our services focus on team building that benefits the client. Working with our client and relevant caregivers, we identify the skills the client wants to learn and behaviors that could be impeding their ability to meet their personal goals and dreams. As a result, we create a customized support plan and trainings suited to the needs of the client and those who support them.
Behavioral Consultation is intended to be faded out over time. We collaborate with families and caregivers to develop trainings and data collections that fit the needs of busy families and organizations. Using Behavioral Skills Training (BST), an evidence-based training method, we focus on modeling skills and providing feedback for improvement to ensure that caregivers feel comfortable and confident when providing care.
